Our unit is composed of 5 autonomous two-storied houses 80m2. They are built by the old traditional way with stone, wood, traditional furniture. The woods for the fireplace are for free. In the unit there is breakfast-lounge, cafeteria, bar, a closed space for children , playground and an open-air parking-lot.
Provided services: riding, mountain-bike, renting jeeps (safari), organisation for excursions (by car, on foot, climbing). In 2003 there is going to be a closet swimming-pool with hot water, Jacuzzi, sauna, fitness room. Each one of the hostels has the name of one of the muses. |
In each one of them there is living room with fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms. Each one of the two-storied houses can accommodate 4-9 persons.
Also there are 4 autonomous studios that are equipped with living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The studios can accommodate 2-5 persons. All of the hostels are also equipped with TV and refrigerator. |
The hostels are situated on the Pieria mountains, in the traditional build-up area of Elatochori 900m above sea level, viewing Olympos and the beaches of Thermaikos. It is in a forest full of fir-trees, chestnut-trees, walnut-trees, just 35 minutes from the beaches of Pieria. The Winter is open the ski resort (2190m above sea level) of Elatochori with ski-rinks that satisfy skiers of all levels, just 7km from the hostels.
How you can go there: from Thessaloniki, Highway Katerini (towards Elassona) - Elatochori, Thessaloniki - Elatochori 100km, Katerini - Elatochori 25km, from Athens, Highway Athens - Thessaloniki - Katerini - Elatochori, Athens - Elatochori 450km. |
