Years ago, pumice-stone miners discovered caves on the Caldera side of Oia on the Greek island of Santorini which archaeologists identified as ancient housings and lodgings. Some of these cave dwellings were transformed into Hotel ARIS CAVES a small and intimate apart hotel with 6 independent traditional lodgings.
ARIS CAVES is situated barely a 100 yards from the village center and close to all attractions of Oia. The small homes nestle like eagle nests on the cliff side of the island, tranquil and ideal to relax, to dream and to enjoy the breathtaking view over the Santorini Caldera, the volcano Nea Kameni, the island Thirasia and the deep blue Aegean Sea.
Spread over 4 levels are 6 self-catering, fully equipped and separate studios, apartments and a suite, each with kitchenette, shower/toilet, air conditioning, internet and its own terrace. The large terrace in the center of ARIS CAVES is open to all guests and offers probably one of the best views in Oia.
Your hosts Christa and Aris Braziotis are at your disposal with information, advice and help in all local matters you may have in English, German, French or Greek. With holidays at ARIS CAVES in Oia on Santorini you can experience one of the globe’s most unique Volcano Islands with a history of more than six millenniums bound to the sagas of ancient Atlantis.

Amenities: Air conditioning, wireless internet, safe, kitchenette with fridge, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, hot plates, crockery, dish towels, iron and ironing board, fresh towels as needed, bathrobes, hair dryer, bag with towels for the beach, fresh bed linen every 3rd day, daily cleaning.
Alitana – Flower bed:
Studio for 2 persons, living-/bedroom with bricked double bed 1,40 x 2,00m and wardrobe, kitchenette in the room, shower/toilet and a furnished private terrace. Living space 235 sq.ft. private, furnished terrace 95 sq.ft.
Xenia - Hospitality:
Apartment for up to 4 people consisting of living room with two single bricked beds 0,90 x 2,00m and bedroom with bricked double bed 1,40 x 2,00m separated by a door arch and windows in the traditional island style. Kitchenette in the living room, shower/toilet. Living space 235 sq. ft., private, furnished terrace 95 sq. ft.
Fournos – Old oven:
Apartment for up to 4 people with wooden gallery with double bed 1,60 x 2,00m, spacious living and dining room and lowered living area with 2 bricked single beds 0,90 x 2,00 m. Small separate kitchen with traditional oven, shower/toilet. Living space 420 sq.ft., private, furnished terrace 95 sq ft.
Gonia - Corner:
Studio with 235 sq.ft. living space, living-/bedroom with double bed, kitchenette in the room, shower/toilet, built directly into the hillside. Complemented with a little courtyard with 45 sq.ft. and one level above a private, furnished terrace with 130 sq.ft.
Patari - Gallery:
Generous, spacious suite for up to 5 people with 560 sq.ft. and a furnished patio with 300 sq.ft. A roomy living-/dining room with a wooden gallery with a double bed 1,60 x 2,00m, lower living level with a bricked sofa 0,90 x 2,00m - can also be used as a bed is coupled with a separate bedroom with an iron double bed 1,60 x 2,00m. Kitchenette in the living-/dining room, separate shower/toilet. The bedroom has access to a secluded private, furnished terrace with 90 sq ft.
Folia - Nest:
The cozy studio with 240 sq.ft. for 2 people, perched like an eagle`s nest on the hillside, is the last and most private flat. Bricked double bed 1,60 x 2,00m, separate little kitchenette, shower/toilet and a large private, furnished terrace with 160 sq.ft.

At the beginning of your stay, we provide you with extensive information about Oia and Santorini and detailed tips and advice about restaurants, shopping and attractions.
Transfers by taxi from airport or port will be arranged if booked in advance.
There is free parking available in the centre of Oia if you travel with your own vehicle.
Free porter service is available within Oia.
Rental cars, boat- and wine tours, etc. can be booked via Christa and Aris.
Only a 10 minutes walk from Aris Caves, our guests have free entrance and use of deck chairs and sun umbrellas to the Lioyerma lounge, cafe, swimming pool which also offers a stunning panoramic view.
Prices
Prices are for 2 people per night including all taxes.
Day Use Cost after check out time: 50% of the room rate.
Check-In from 2:00 pm., Check-Out until 12:00 am
To confirm your reservation at Aris Caves we require a 50% down payment of the total room charge. You can either transfer free of charges the corresponding amount via your bank – in such case we will inform you of our bank details with our booking confirmation in time, or we debit your Master- or Visa Card, or we issue a PayPal invoice (down payment plus 2,9% PayPal charges) and you action payment through PayPal. For the balance payment we gladly accept cash, Master- or Visa Card at the end of your stay.
No cancellation fee is charged and the deposit will be returned if booking is cancelled more than 21 days prior to scheduled arrival. If cancelled less than 21 days before arrival 30%, less than 14 days before arrival 50% and less than 7 days before arrival and in case of no-show or departure prior to scheduled date 100% of total stay will be charged.
Due to the cliff side location of the property and low perimeter walls, we recommend children to be at least 8 years of age.
Due to own cats and a dog are pets not recommended.
