It is 75km from Thessaloniki and 70km from the airport, 1 hour by car from Mount Athos and 15km from Poligiro. In front of the hotel there is a boundless, sandy beach with shallow waters ideal for children. The position of ALKINOOS is ideal for daily excursions all around Chalkidiki. Sights: Kassandra, Sithonia, Ouranopoli for a visit to the Mount Athos, the ancient Olinthos and the caves of Petralona. It is two hours from Vergina, with its famous findings from Filippos and Alexander the Great. In our region there are traditional taverns, ouzeri, super-markets, open-air cinema, night-clubs, a market generally and an abundance of fresh fish.
