Hotel VIGLAis located in Pyrra of Trikala. It has 14 splendid rooms, each one with its own personality. It provides warm spaces of reception, cafeteria with bar and fireplace, traditional tavern with local dishes where you can daily enjoy the local kitchen and the homemade tastes.

All rooms are equipped with satellite television, refrigerator with mini bar, telephone, hairdryer, individual heating, hot water all day long, while 9 of the 14 rooms of the hotel also have fireplace.

Pyrra of the Municipality Aithikon is located in the Prefecture of Trikala, in a distance of 7km from Neraidohori and 58km from Trikala. It is built at an altitude of 1050m and it is surrounded by the mountaintops Avgo (2146m), Tsouma (2053m) and Hameno (1800m). The village was named after King Pyrrhus. The visitor can visit the cavern at the location “Kazania“, with an underground waterfall and the cavern “Sarmanitsa“, which both are still unexploited. The old stone bridge “Kamara“ at the “Potamaki“ is beautiful and the forest is full of firs, beeches, oaks, platans and ivy. The monastery of Agios Modestos (1859) is a remarkable site, with a church and cells, just like the temple of Agios Nikolaos (17th-18th centuries). On the occasion of Agia Paraskevi’s day, a three-day celebration (26-28 July) takes place in the village, with the impressive re-enactment of the satiric wedding, while the fair at the monastery of Agios Modestos (18-19 December) is also interesting, with Mass and public eating and drinking.
